Method for producing germanium dihalide-ether adduct |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Objective] An ether adduct of divalent germanium halide is obtained by a one-step production method in a high yield even at a desired batch scale by using easily available raw materials. A divalent germanium halide in the form of an adduct with ether, in particular of the formula GeX 2 (C 4 H 8 O 2 ). The adduct of (wherein X is preferably chlorine or bromine) is a germanium tetrahalide in the presence of an ether, preferably 1,4-dioxane and an organosilane, and at least a catalytic amount of a metal hydride. It can be obtained in high yield by reduction in a one-step reaction. |
