(57) [Summary] [Objective] To find out oxazoline derivatives with excellent herbicidal activity. [Structure] General formula (I) [X = H, Cl, Y = Cl, Br, R = H, a lower alkyl group, A-B = C (= W 2) -CH 2 group or the like (W 2 = O or N-OCH 3)] of the compound . [Effect] The compound (I) exhibits herbicidal activity against various weeds which are a problem in the field treatment of foliage and soil, and is a problem against major crops such as corn, wheat and soybean. It does not show such phytotoxicity. In addition, it shows herbicidal activity against various weeds that are problematic in paddy fields, and does not show problematic phytotoxicity to rice. |
