Method for producing chlorate of. [Structure] The alkali metal chloride solution is previously purified in steps (a) to (c). (a) Electrolysis of brine of alkali metal chloride in a "chlorine-alkali" type electrolytic cell (1) to produce gaseous chlorine and a concentrated alkali metal hydroxide solution, and (b) produced gas Chlorine and the alkali metal hydroxide solution are sent to the knockout column (2) to react with each other, and (c) the produced brine solution is recovered and used in the anode chamber of the diaphragm electrolyzer (3). |
