(57) [Summary] (Modified) [Structure] D encoding the endothelin receptor from cDNA prepared from poly A + RNA derived from human placenta. NA was isolated. Furthermore, an expression vector containing this DNA and a transformant containing this expression vector were obtained, and by culturing this, the endothelin receptor was obtained. One of these receptors (sequence length 4105) is an ET A type receptor with high affinity for endothelin 1 and 2, especially endothelin 1. Another receptor (array length 4 301) is an ET B type receptor without selective affinity for endothelin 1, 2 and 3. [Effect] The prepared endothelin receptor is useful for screening endothelin detection reagents or endothelin receptor antagonists, and for searching and researching cardiovascular drugs. |
