titleOfInvention | Optical head device and optical element |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To reduce the number of head amplifiers for signal detection and eliminate the imbalance of magneto-optical signal head amplifiers. [Structure] The light emitted from the semiconductor laser 101 is the optical disk 1. The beam is condensed and reflected on the beam 05, passes through the beam splitter 106, and is converted by the detection lens 104 into focused light. Further, this light is split into two optical paths by the beam splitting element 10. Further, this light enters the polarization separation hologram 121 and is polarized and separated into diffracted light and transmitted light. These lights are detected by the photodetector 195 divided into a plurality of areas. Since the transmitted light is used for detecting the tracking error signal and the diffracted light is used for the focus error signal, the imbalance of the head amplifier at the time of reproducing the magneto-optical signal does not occur. Further, a separate head amplifier for detecting the magneto-optical signal is not required, and the number of head amplifiers can be reduced. |
