Device for removing components from solution |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Structure] A device for removing components from a solution, in particular, a device for dispensing an ophthalmic solution, comprising: (a) a solution holding chamber for holding a solution having a first pH. A body of a container defined therein and having an outlet for dispensing a solution from the holding chamber; and (b) changing the pH of the solution as the solution is dispensed from the holding chamber via the outlet. A device comprising: means. [Effect] By using the above device, a pharmacological substance that is stable at a pH value that is not optimal for administration but is unstable at a pH value that is acceptable for administration is stored as a solution or dispersion liquid at a stable pH value. However, the pharmacological substance can be used easily and safely by changing the pH of the solution or dispersion to a value acceptable for administration. |
