abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] A solid catalyst for α-olefin polymerization for obtaining a polymer with a small ash component such as an inorganic oxide in a high yield in a state of good particle properties. Providing manufacturing methods. [Structure] An organic porous polymer having a specific particle size, pore diameter, and pore volume is impregnated with an alumoxane and a group IVB to VIB transition metal compound having a conjugated five-membered ring ligand, and this is then subjected to gas phase conditions. A solid catalyst for α-olefin polymerization obtained by subjecting to prepolymerization which comprises contacting and polymerizing an olefin under the same, and a process for producing an α-olefin polymer using this catalyst. [Effect] The above-mentioned object is achieved. |
