titleOfInvention | Method for producing aromatic ketone compound |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Objective] When an aromatic compound is acylated in the presence of a Lewis acid, using a carboxylic acid or a carboxylic acid trisubstituted silyl ester as an acylating agent, the acylation reaction proceeds smoothly. Provide a method that can be done. A method for producing an aromatic ketone compound by subjecting an aromatic compound to an acylation reaction with a Friedel-Crafts-type acylating agent in the presence of a Lewis acid catalyst, wherein a carboxylic acid or carboxylic acid tri-substituted is used as the acylating agent. A process for producing an aromatic ketone compound, which comprises using a silyl ester and carrying out the acylation reaction in the presence of paratrifluoromethylbenzoic anhydride. |
