A catalyst for decomposing nitrous oxide, which carries at least one selected from d 2 O 3 , Sm 2 O 3 , Tb 2 O 3 , and Y 2 O 3 . [Effects] Nitrous oxide in exhaust gas can be efficiently catalytically decomposed even at low temperatures, and is unlikely to change with time.
