Viral Vector Incorporating Gene Encoding Hepatitis C Virus Constituting Polypeptide And Method Of Utilizing The Same |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a vector for expressing a hepatitis C virus (HCV) -constituting polypeptide, a method for producing an HCV-constituting polypeptide using this vector, and a method for using the same. [Structure] High expression of an HCV constituent polypeptide obtained by introducing into a baculovirus a transfer vector in which a gene fragment encoding a signal sequence of G protein of rabies virus is inserted upstream of a gene encoding a HCV constituent polypeptide. Provide possible viral vectors. The HCV envelope glycoprotein obtained by the present invention is effective as a hepatitis C diagnostic method and a vaccine material. |
