abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Purpose] To produce raw silk and silk that are difficult to yellow when exposed to sunlight or ultraviolet rays. [Structure] Silkworms are bred with artificial feed containing about 50% okara to make cocoons, or deoxycytidylic acid (dCMP) or cytidylic acid (CMP) is chemically adsorbed or contained in cocoon threads. [Effect] Due to the ultraviolet absorbing effect of the contained deoxycytidylic acid or cytidylic acid, the cocoon thread is less likely to yellow due to the irradiation of ultraviolet rays. |
