titleOfInvention Method for producing polyester fibers with improved dimensional stability
abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a novel method capable of stably producing a polyester fiber, which can be a high modulus, low shrinkage polyester cord suitable for industrial materials, with high productivity. [Structure] When melt-spinning a polyester polymer containing polyethylene terephthalate as the main repeating unit, quenching by blowing cooling air and pulling it off, the distance from the spinneret to the first take-up roll (spin length) depends on the end point of the thinning deformation. It is set between the larger value of LL1 specified and LL2 specified by the end point of solidification by cooling, and LM determined by shrinkage characteristics and yarn breakage. At a speed of at least / min, an undrawn yarn having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.85 or more, a birefringence of 0.08 or more, and a density of 1.370 or more was obtained, and this was drawn 1.3 to 1.8 times, Strength 6.0g A drawn yarn of / de or more is obtained.
