titleOfInvention | Method for producing maleamic acid and its ester |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To produce maleamic acid from maleic anhydride and ammonia. Further, the maleamic acid ester is produced by reacting this maleamic acid with alcohol. [Structure] When maleic anhydride is reacted with ammonia in an inert solvent to produce maleamic acid, the reaction solution is mixed with maleic anhydride so that the maleic anhydride concentration in the reaction solution is 10% by weight or less. The reaction is carried out while supplying the acid and ammonia. Subsequently, alcohol is added to the obtained reaction solution containing maleamic acid to produce a maleamic acid ester by an esterification reaction. [Effect] Highly pure maleamic acid can be obtained in high yield. Therefore, without separating the maleamic acid, Alcohol is added to the reaction solution as it is, and a highly pure maleamic acid ester is obtained by the esterification reaction. |
