abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To provide an antipyretic agent having a low body temperature lowering effect and a high antipyretic effect, and a method for producing the same. [Structure] An antipyretic agent obtained by concentrating components extracted from firefly squid with a hydrophobic organic solvent under reduced pressure. The visceral part of the firefly squid is finely crushed and immersed in a mixture of a hydrophobic organic solvent and a water-miscible organic solvent. Then, the organic solvent layer in which the extracted component is dissolved is concentrated under reduced pressure to remove the solvent, and a concentrated extract of the active component is obtained. [Effect] The body temperature of a fevering animal or a normal animal can be reliably lowered, and there are no side effects. |
