abstract | (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a method to be used in a method for producing hydrogen peroxide using an anthraquinone derivative, which is an alternative to the method for reactivating ineffective anthraquinone, and to use the method for reactivating ineffective anthraquinone, A method for producing hydrogen peroxide is provided. In a method for producing hydrogen peroxide using redox of an anthraquinone derivative contained in a working fluid, hydrogen is added to the working fluid to reduce a part or all of the anthraquinone derivative in the working fluid. At least a part of the obtained working fluid is subjected to an extraction treatment using, for example, an alkaline aqueous solution to obtain an extract containing a part or all of the reduced anthraquinone derivative contained in this working fluid and a working fluid, and thus obtained. A method for producing hydrogen peroxide, wherein the working fluid is reused in the production of hydrogen peroxide. A method for producing a cooking aid, wherein an extract containing a part or all of the reduced anthraquinone derivative is used as a cooking aid for kraft pulp. |
