abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] The present invention is a sweetener for chewing gum which has an improved anti-cariogenic property and lower calorie than sugar, but can improve the initial texture (chewing bite) of chewing gum to improve the texture. The purpose is to provide fees. [Structure] Palatinit, and at least one lactitol hydrate selected from the group consisting of lactitol monohydrate and lactitol dihydrate, containing lactitol water relative to the total weight of palatinit and lactitol hydrate. It is a sweetener for chewing gum in which the proportion of Japanese products is 50 to 90% by weight.
