titleOfInvention | Fractional determination method of peracetic acid and hydrogen peroxide |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To find a method capable of accurately analyzing the concentrations of peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid and hydrogen peroxide in a mixed aqueous solution of acetic acid by a simple method. [Structure] First, a small excess of potassium iodide aqueous solution with respect to peracetic acid was added to the mixed aqueous solution, and the liberated iodine was titrated with a sodium thiosulfate standard solution to measure the peracetic acid concentration. A large excess of potassium iodide aqueous solution, dilute sulfuric acid, and ammonium molybdate aqueous solution are added to and the iodine liberated again is titrated with a sodium thiosulfate standard solution to measure the hydrogen peroxide concentration. |
