abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a denitration agent having a high denitration rate and capable of maintaining the high denitration rate for a long period of time, a method for producing the denitration agent, and a denitration method. [Constitution] Activated carbon is impregnated with KOH to form a denitration agent. It is also possible to denitrate by passing the contained gas through the processing container having the denitration agent. Also, after deactivating the activated carbon in the KOH aqueous solution, the activated carbon is dried and impregnated with KOH to produce a denitration agent.
