abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a fabric capable of obtaining a printed product by an inkjet method, which has excellent sharpness and printing quality, and a printing method using the same. [Configuration] At least one selected from a water repellent and a soft water repellent is unevenly distributed and attached to at least one surface layer of the cloth, and the water absorbing agent is selected from the water repellent and the soft water repellent of the cloth. And at least one selected from a water repellent and a soft water repellent is unevenly distributed on at least one surface layer of the cloth. After that, a water-absorbing agent is attached to a portion of the cloth on which at least one selected from a water-repellent agent and a soft water-repellent agent is not adhered, and then at least one kind selected from a water-repellent agent and a soft water-repellent agent on the cloth. It is characterized in that a dye ink is dyed on the unevenly attached surface side by an inkjet method.
