titleOfInvention | Thermal recording material |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] A heat-sensitive recording material in which the storage stability of a color image and non-image areas, particularly the image stability against oil and plasticizer, is significantly improved as compared with the conventional one. [Structure] 1) Use of a compound represented by the following formula (1) as a developer that causes a leuco dye to develop color when heated. [Chemical 1] The compound (I) is a compound (H X) and a compound (B) having a proton accepting ability. In the above formula (1), HX represents an inorganic acid such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid or phosphoric acid and an organic acid such as organic sulfonic acid or organic phosphoric acid. B represents an aliphatic amino compound, an aromatic amino compound, or a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound. 2) B in the compound (1) has a 6-membered nitrogen-containing heterocycle. 3) HX in the compound (1) is an aromatic sulfonic acid. |
