abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] In power cutoff control of an MR imaging apparatus, the purpose is to perform appropriate power cutoff control by individual switches corresponding to the system configuration. [Constitution] An operator console 1 operated by an operator, a transformer unit 2 for transforming and controlling a power supply voltage, an RF unit 3 for controlling generation of a high frequency magnetic field, and a GC for controlling generation of a gradient magnetic field. It is composed of a unit 4 and a power supply control circuit 5 for controlling the power supply of all units.
