titleOfInvention Method for producing fatty acid jetanolamide having low content of jetanolamine
abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a method for producing a fatty acid diethanolamide having a low content of diethanolamine and less likely to be colored over time. [Constitution] Since conventional fatty acid diethanolamide contains diethanolamine as an impurity, it may be colored over time. According to the present invention, a carbonate is added to a fatty acid diethanolamide containing diethanolamine to acetylate the diethanolamine, whereby a fatty acid diethanolamide that is less likely to be colored over time can be obtained.
