Vascular endothelial cell growth factor C subunit |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Structure] Human vascular endothelial growth factor C subunit DN A was prepared by PCR. This DNA encodes a protein that can exist as a heterodimer or homodimer. [Effect] The protein produced by the cultured cells transformed with the vector containing this DNA is a mitogen for mammalian blood vessel endothelial cells and is useful for promoting angiogenesis and repair. This growth factor is also useful for promoting tissue repair. |
