abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a gas-phase reaction method of methanol and hydrogen chloride using a novel catalyst, which is capable of producing methyl chloride with high conversion and selectivity even at relatively low temperature. [Structure] Using a titanium oxide catalyst or a titanium oxide catalyst to which a metal oxide such as zinc or chromium is added, methanol and hydrogen chloride are reacted in a gas phase to generate methyl chloride. A high methanol reaction rate and a high methyl chloride selectivity can be achieved even in a low temperature range of about 200 ° C to 250 ° C. |
