titleOfInvention Liquid crystal display device and method for producing liquid crystal alignment film
abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a liquid crystal display device having good display quality by producing a liquid crystal alignment film capable of uniformly aligning liquid crystal molecules and suppressing an interference effect. [Structure] A photosensitive polymer thin film 2 is formed on an electrode formed on one main surface of a glass substrate 1, and the photosensitive polymer thin film 2 is exposed through a mask 11 on which an irregular light-shielding pattern is formed. Then, the liquid crystal alignment film 3 is formed by developing.
