abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] A novel 3,6,8-trimethyl-monomer which satisfies all the basic electrophotographic characteristics and is useful as a photoconductive material. To provide an N, N-diphenyl-1-pyrenylamine derivative, a production intermediate thereof, and an industrially advantageous production method thereof. [Structure] (1) The following chemical formula 1 (In the formula, R 1 and R 2 represent a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, a halogen atom, a nitro group or a cyano group. 1 , 6, R 2 may be the same or different) 3,6,8-N, N-diphenyl-1-pyrenylamine derivative. (2) 3,6,8-Trimethyl-N-phenyl-1-pyrenylamine derivative or 3,6,8-trimethyl- A novel 3,6,8 compound represented by the above chemical formula 1 characterized by reacting 1-pyrenylamine with a halobenzene derivative A method for producing a trimethyl-N, N-diphenyl-1-pyrenylamine derivative.
