abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] In a reaction for producing cyclododecatriene by trimerization of 1,3-butadiene in an inert solvent using a Ziegler-Natta catalyst, organometallic aluminum in the mixture after the reaction is completed. The present invention relates to deactivating a used catalyst by adding a mixed solution containing water to a compound forming an adduct and reacting it. [Effect] According to the present invention, a method for deactivating a catalyst used without deactivating the target product cyclododecatriene has been completed.
