abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To reduce damage due to friction and wear with the road surface and improve durability. [Structure] Short fibers are uniformly dispersed in a rubber or synthetic resin elastomer at a rate of 0.1 to 30% by volume. The short fibers have a fiber length of 0.1 to 10 mm and an aspect ratio L / D between the fiber length L and the fiber diameter D of 40 to 5000. The short fibers contained in the elastomer are exposed on the surface, and the surface becomes a fiber rich state. Therefore, the friction coefficient is lowered, damage due to friction and wear is reduced, and durability is improved. |
