titleOfInvention Method of modifying and processing silk fiber
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] By chemically modifying silk without impairing the texture and luster of silk, it imparts complete dye resistance to anionic dyes, and also to cationic dyes. On the other hand, it provides a method of imparting a dyeing property sufficient for practical use. [Structure] Silk dipped in an aqueous sulfamic acid solution is treated by a pad dry cure method to introduce sulfo groups into silk fibers, giving complete dye resistance to anionic dyes, and cationic dyes. Is imparted with a dye-staining property.
