titleOfInvention Method for forming polymer thin film on the surface of rubber molding
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To form a thin film of a polymer such as nylon on the surface of a rubber molded product. [Structure] The present invention uses a polymer that can be polymerized by interfacial polymerization. For example, polyamide, polyester, polyurethane and the like. The reactive component A of this polymer is added before or after crosslinking of the rubber molding. In the former, the reaction component A is added during rubber kneading. In the latter case, the reaction component A is added by immersing the crosslinked rubber molding in a solution in which the reaction component A is dissolved. Subsequently, the solution in which the reaction component B is dissolved is applied to the rubber molding. Then, a polymerization reaction of the reaction component A and the reaction component B occurs on the surface of the rubber molded product, and a polymer thin film is uniformly formed. Since the reaction component A in the surface layer of the rubber molded product is polymerized with the reaction component B, the polymer thin film is not peeled off from the rubber molded product. According to the method of the present invention, only the surface properties can be modified without changing the physical properties of the rubber molding.
