abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To develop a novel anti-ulcer drug having excellent gastric acid secretion inhibitory action and gastric mucosa protective action. [Structure] General formula [Chemical formula 1] [In the formula, R 1 represents hydrogen, fluorine, a hydroxyl group, difluoromethoxy or trifluoromethyl, R 2 and R 3 are the same or different and represent hydrogen or methyl, and n represents 0 or 1, respectively. ] The pyridine derivative represented by the formula or a salt thereof has an antiulcer action, has relatively high stability, and has low toxicity. [Effect] The compound of the present invention has both a strong gastric acid secretion inhibitory action and a gastric mucosal protective action and, as a result, shows a remarkable anti-ulcer action, and is useful for the prevention and treatment of gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, gastritis and the like. ..
