abstract |
(57) [Summary] (Modified) [Construction] Formed from a precursor containing grinding grain 20 and an oligomeric aminoplast resin having an average of at least one pendant α, β-unsaturated carbonyl group per oligomer unit. An abrasive article having at least one binder. The advantages of the abrasive article of the present invention over the prior art are that the cost can be reduced by mixing a relatively expensive oligomeric aminoplast resin with an inexpensive thermosetting resin, and a festoon oven. Is not to use. The abrasive article of the present invention exhibits improved abrasive performance in severe abrasive conditions, particularly in wet conditions, as compared to previously known abrasive articles containing a radiation curable binder. |
