abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] The melted material that has been compressed prevents rotation of the dispenser about the axis of the container, and prevents the formation of a leak path between the rim surface of the container and the dispenser. A gasket or liner of hot melt material is applied to a portion of a manual dispenser having a closure cap for mounting on a container. The hot melt may include a quantity of fluid to produce a foamed melt of a given concentration. The cap is placed on the neck of the container and when the melt cools to room temperature and is compressed, it produces a non-slip gasket seal. |
