titleOfInvention | Housing for waterproof connector and manufacturing method thereof |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] The present invention relates to a waterproof connector housing in which a ring-shaped packing for waterproof sealing is formed integrally with the housing, and a method for manufacturing the same, which is excellent in that the packing does not fall off from the housing. It is waterproof and aims to facilitate manufacturing. [Structure] A primer layer 3 is formed in a ring shape on a wall surface (2a, 2b) on a fitting surface side of a fitting frame 2 which receives a mating connector of a housing 1, and an addition reaction type liquid silicone rubber layer is formed thereon. The ring-shaped packing 4 is integrally formed with the housing by vulcanization adhesion of the silicone rubber layer to the primer layer 3. The addition reaction type liquid silicone rubber layer is formed by setting the molded housing 1 in the female die 6 and the space corresponding to the ring-shaped packing in the male die 7 and injecting the two-liquid mixed type liquid silicone rubber. Then, it is pressed and vulcanized to be molded. |
