titleOfInvention | Color diffusion transfer photosensitive material |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] A negative image silver halide emulsion is combined with a reducible dye-donor compound that releases a diffusible dye in the opposite reaction to the reduction of silver halide into a positive image. The lowest density portion (corresponding to the high exposed portion) of the color diffusion transfer photosensitive material to be formed is lowered, and the highest density portion (corresponding to the unexposed portion) is increased. A color diffusion transfer photosensitive material comprising a reducible dye-donating compound of the general formula (I) which releases a diffusible dye when reduced, and at least one compound of the general formula (II). When the general formula (I) PWR- (Time) t -Dye PWR is reduced - (Time) based releasing t -Dye: Time from PWR - (Time) t -Dy A group that is released as e and then releases Dye through a subsequent reaction; t is an integer of 0 or 1; Dye is a dye or its precursor. As the substituents of the general formula (II) R 1 —COOR 2 R 1 and R 2 , those having a sum of the aliphatic Taft constant and Hammett constant of the substituents of 0 or more are selected. |
