abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] The present invention provides an electromagnetic effect material that stably exhibits an electromagnetic effect near room temperature and can be used for a memory element for digital information storage, various electronic devices, and the like. [Structure] xA-yB-zC-wD-αO-based oxide ceramics (wherein A and B are elements that can form a perovskite structure compound represented by ABO 3 and exhibiting ferromagnetic or antiferromagnetic properties) C and D are elements represented by CDO 3 and capable of forming a perovskite structure compound having ferroelectricity, antiferroelectricity, piezoelectric effect or piezoelectric effect). It is an effect material and is characterized by having a temperature range in which the electromagnetic coupling coefficient is 1.0 × 10 −5 (emu cm / V g) or more in the temperature range of 250 to 700K.
