titleOfInvention Resin that has good UV absorption ability and is well dispersed in water
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To obtain a resin that has a large effect of absorbing ultraviolet rays, does not elute the ultraviolet absorber from the resin, and is well dispersed in water. [Structure] 50 to 95 parts by weight of methyl methacrylate, 5 to 30 parts by weight of a bifunctional acrylic ester (or methacrylic ester) represented by the following formula (1), and methyl methacrylate, the bifunctional represented by the formula (1) Having a radically polymerizable functional group represented by the following formula (2) per 100 parts by weight of a specified mixed monomer consisting of 2 to 30 parts by weight of a monomer copolymerizable with a polymerizable acrylic ester (or methacrylic ester) By mixing 0.05 to 30 parts by weight of a benzophenone-based UV absorber and then performing emulsion copolymerization using a reactive emulsifier having a radical-polymerizable double bond, the resulting UV-absorbing effect is greatly increased from the resin. It is characterized in that the ultraviolet absorber does not elute. (However, X is H or CH 3 , R 1 is a C 4 to C 8 alkyl group, or (n is an integer of 1 to 5 and m is an integer of 0 to 3)
