abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A lost wax composition comprising 80 to 30% by weight of a base wax and 20 to 70% by weight of melamine powder, which is used for producing a model for precision casting by the lost wax method. [Effect] When a wax model is molded, a wax model having a wide molding range, a small shrinkage ratio, a small surface shrinkage, a stable dimensional accuracy, and a smooth surface skin without entrainment of flow lines or bubbles can be obtained. In addition, shell cracks can be made extremely small when a precision cast product is produced using this model. Therefore, the manufacturing is easy and the product quality is improved.
