titleOfInvention | Silver halide photographic emulsion |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a silver halide photographic emulsion with improved low-illuminance failure and reduced occurrence of latent image bleaching. A silver halide photographic emulsion containing at least one of cobalt, rhodium, nickel, palladium and platinum complexes having at least 4 cyano groups, wherein these metal complexes are K 2 [Ni (CN) 4 ], K 2 [Pd (CN) 4 ], K 2 [Pt A tetradentate complex such as (CN) 4 ], or K 3 [Co (CN) 6 ], K 3 [Rh (CN) 6 ], K 2 Although any type of hexadentate coordination complex such as [Pt (CN) 6 ] may be used, it is preferably an unsubstituted hexadentate coordination complex. The amount added to the emulsion is 10 -7 mol to 10 -3 mol, preferably 10 -5 mol, per mol of silver halide. It is from mol to 10 −3 mol. |
