(57) [Summary] (Modified) [Objective] To provide an improved method for producing L-aspartic acid using L-aspartase-active microbial cells, preferably E. coli cells. A method for using an enzyme activity-containing microbial cell immobilized on a solid inert carrier via an insoluble cross-linked polymer, comprising L-aspartic acid and L-asparagine by immobilized cell containing L-aspartase activity. L-alanine by immobilized cells containing acid decarboxylase activity, 6-aminopenicillanic acid by immobilized cells containing penicillin-G acylase activity, fructose-rich corn syrup by immobilized cells containing glucose isomerase activity, steroid dehydrogenase activity Prezonidron or related steroids by immobilized cells containing phenylalanine and phenylalanine by immobilized cells containing phenylalanine ammonia lyase activity are produced. |
