abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To provide a method for measuring calcium, which is simple and quick in operation, and has high sensitivity. [Structure] 10 μl of multiple serum solutions and various standard solutions with known concentrations were placed in wells arranged on the plate, eight in each row. Hold 10 μl. 180 μl of a fluorescent reagent solution containing calcein as a main component was added to each of the serum solution and the standard solution, and well mixed using a titer mixer. Then, using a microplate reader, irradiate the serum solution or standard solution in each well with excitation light at a wavelength of 450 nm, and continuously measure the fluorescence intensity at a wavelength of 530 nm exhibited by the serum solution or standard solution. To do. A calibration curve is created from the measured fluorescence intensity of the standard solution, and the calcium concentration in the serum solution is determined from the fluorescence intensity of the serum solution measured based on this calibration curve.
