abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] It is possible to efficiently oxidize the absorbent. In the absorption tower for absorbing and removing the sulfur oxides in the gas, the absorption liquid in the liquid storage tank 5 is sprayed and dropped from the upper part into the liquid storage tank 5 and is circulated to come into contact with the gas to be treated. The collecting tank 11 is provided in the reservoir tank 5 with a part for collecting the falling absorbing liquid, and a flow passage 12 for guiding the liquid in the collecting portion 11 to the bottom of the tank 5 is provided, and the flow passage 1 is provided. It is characterized in that an air blowing portion 13 for blowing air is provided in the inside of the unit 2.
