abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a methacrylic resin composition which is excellent in low birefringence and retains excellent transparency, heat resistance and mechanical strength. [Structure] Methyl methacrylate 50 to 90% by weight, the following general formula (I): (In the formula, R represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, and n is an integer of 1 to 5.) 10 to 50% by weight of the methacrylic acid ester, and other copolymerizable vinyl monomer 0 to Copolymer (A) 60 to 9 consisting of 20% by weight 8.9 parts by weight of methyl methacrylate 10 to 90% by weight, aromatic vinyl monomer 10 to 90% by weight, and copolymerizable other vinyl monomer 0 to 20% by weight (B ) A low birefringence methacrylic resin composition comprising 0.6 to 30 parts by weight and 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of an aromatic polycarbonate (C). |
