abstract | (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Purpose] When toner and carrier are mixed, the toner charge rises sharply, and even if the toner and carrier are mixed for a long time, the charge decreases. (EN) Provided are a toner for electrophotography, which is free from contamination by a carrier charge control agent, and a method for producing the same. A core particle composed of a mixture of a fixing resin and a compounding agent for toner other than a charge control agent, and a coating layer of the charge control agent existing only on the surface of the core particle, are represented by the formula A = B / C In the figure, C is the specific surface area (m 2 / g) of the toner calculated as a true sphere based on the volume-based median diameter measured by the Coulter counter method, and B is the specific surface area of the toner (m 2 / g) measured by the BET method ( m 2 / g). A toner for electrophotography, which has a specific surface area ratio (A) defined by 3.3 or less and an area fraction of a portion where the charge control agent is distributed and present is 0.5% or more. |
