titleOfInvention | Nonlinear optical material |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a novel nonlinear optical material. [Structure] An organic metal salt oxidizing agent is reduced in a hydrophobic organic polymer compound by heat treatment to produce a nonlinear optical element in which metal fine particles are dispersed in the hydrophobic organic polymer compound. In particular, by controlling the catalyst nucleus that accelerates this fine particle formation reaction, the dispersed metal fine particles can have a density gradient, and a nonlinear optical element having a new structure can be manufactured. [Effect] Since a wide range of materials can be selected, it is possible to provide a wide range of non-linear optical parts. Moreover, unlike glass materials, simple continuous processing can be performed at low temperatures, which is a great advantage in manufacturing various parts and elements. |
