abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To obtain metal oxide fine particles having a composite property of electric conductivity and optical properties of a metal oxide and having good dispersibility. The surface of the metal oxide core fine particles is coated with at least one layer of a different kind of metal oxide, and the metal oxides are different in the substances in contact with each other. In order to obtain the metal oxide fine particles, the metal salt as a raw material of the nuclear fine particles is heated, The obtained above is introduced into a reactor, and metal oxide core particles are generated by performing a thermal decomposition reaction, followed by heating the metal salt as a raw material of the coating layer, and the obtained vapor is converted into the metal oxide.
