abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] N-acetylhexosaminidase is measured by a kinetic analysis (rate assay) method. [Structure] A sample containing N-acetylhexosaminidase is allowed to act on N-acetylhexosaminide represented by the following formula (I), and N-acetylhexosamine oxidase is acted on the produced N-acetylhexosamin. And a method for quantifying N-acetylhexosaminidase activity, which comprises measuring the hydrogen peroxide produced or the oxygen consumed. [Chemical 1] (In the formula, R represents an alkyl group, a phenyl group, a naphthyl group, or a group having a nitro group as a substituent.) [Effect] With a simple operation, sensitivity is high, specificity is high and accurate without being affected by coexisting substances. It becomes possible to quantify. |
