abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] When a vinyl monomer is graft-copolymerized on a synthetic resin film cross-linked by irradiation of radiation to obtain a battery separator, the graft ratio of the separator is reduced to stabilize the quality. [Structure] After irradiating the synthetic resin film with radiation to crosslink it, the active groups formed in the film during this crosslinking are extinguished so that the active groups do not contribute to the graft copolymerization reaction, and then the crosslinked film is exposed to radiation. Irradiate to graft-copolymerize the vinyl monomer.
