titleOfInvention How to treat pearl barley
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To remove pearl barley using a commercially available one-pass type rice milling machine, a sieve and Kara-mitsu, and obtain a large amount of grain-free and refined grain sized grains. Further, the refined white sizing is soaked in water, re-dried, and put on a rice polishing machine to separate the endosperm and the germ. This improves the rice cooking characteristics and milling characteristics of the deembryonic grains and improves the taste. [Structure] A pearl barley is lightly ground with a whitening strength of 1 on a commercially available one-pass type rice milling machine, and this is divided by a sieve of 4.00 to 5.66 mm into light and unpeeled granules. The unpeeled granules are ground again with a rice mill. After removing the whole amount, it is wind-selected to obtain a large amount of refined white sized grain without grain breakage. After immersing the refined white sizing in water, it is dried again with a blow dryer. The dried white grains are lightly laid on a rice polishing machine to separate the degermed grain and the germ of only the endosperm. The degermed grain had the same cooking characteristics as white rice, and the taste was improved. Furthermore, it became easier to mill, and a fine, habit-free powder was produced.
