titleOfInvention | Combined sensitizing dye for photographic materials |
abstract | (57) Abstract: The present invention relates to a silver halide photographic element which is spectrally sensitized by a combined use of a supersensitizing dye, and an effective use of the photographic sensitizer while the dye stain is relatively low. It is intended to provide a combination use of supersensitizing dyes. The present photographic element has the formula: In the above formula, Z 1 , Z 2 , L, n, p, q, X, A and A ′ each represent a specific group, and the first dye according to the formula: In the above formula, Z 3 , Z 4 , L, m, r, s, X ', R 3 and R 4 each represent a specific group. Supercolor enhancement of two dyes, a second dye having an oxidation potential that is at least 0.08 volts positive than the oxidation potential of the first dye and a reduction potential that is equal to or higher than the reduction potential of the first dye. It comprises a silver halide emulsion spectrally sensitized by the combined use of sensitizers. |
